The process of making the masala paste involves the time consuming work of scraping coconut, roasting spices and grinding in mixie, transferring paste from mixie to sambar. After this, all things used for making paste need to be washed and dried - mixie jar used for grinding, kadai used for roasting, scrapper used for scrapping coconut. Then everything - mixie, the jar, scrapper and kadai needs to be put back in correct place for using next time.
